Renewal Submission and Processing for the upcoming licensure renewal (due by July 1, 2018) begins March 1, 2018. Forms and Instructions will be available at that time. Be sure to check (Verify A License) to determine if you are required to renew by July 1, 2018. If your license expiration date is listed as 2019, then you are not required to submit a renewal this year.
Reminder, the requirement is 20 contact hours of continuing education. At least three of the 20 hours must be ethics training in the provision of professional mental health services. Courses that are generic in nature (not mental health services ethics content) or specific to other licenses or state regulations/laws for states other than North Carolina are not accepted.
